Bouncy Calleigh.. Or Not

Been looking through some photos of Calleigh from her first few weeks and i can't believe how much she's grown. Took her to get weighed today and she is safely in double figures now at 10lbs 11ozs. I think a little shopping trip is in order to get the little madam some new clothes.

Decided to try her out in her bouncer yesterday, she was a little unsure at first,

Then a little shocked,

But she soon got into the swing (or should i say bounce) of things.

Sleepovers

Saturday was the first night that we spent without Calleigh. She stayed at Mee-Maws for the night. We dropped her off about 4, at which point she was crying and crying, this carried on for a while, almost to the point where Mee-maw wanted us to take her back. Then just as quick as it started she fell asleep, and so began her first night away from home. She had a good night as always.. slept in her moses basket with Auntie Lana.
Me and Daddy didn't really know what to do with ourselves, went out for a drink, came home and slept.

Went to pick her up in the morning, walked into the room and was greeted by the biggest smile from my little princess.. my heart melted!!

Brought her some new clothes the other day, as she's getting a little big for some of her newborn clothes. Included in this buy was an adorable pair of jegging's. Couldn't wait to get her in them.

Cute or what??

First Time In The Snow

So we had a lot of snow last night, decided to take Calleigh for a walk, bad idea. It is unbelievably hard to push a pushchair in that much snow, it was a nightmare, the swift half in the pub helped a bit though.
Had a much better time today, took her outside all suited and booted up to have her first little footprints in the snow. I don't think she really knew what to think of it to be honest but i enjoyed it never the less.

Spent the day with Mee-Maw and Auntie Lana, had some food, watched some telly then back home to Daddy. Got home and there were some beauitful purple tulips waiting for us, daddy's such a softie.

Calleighs legs are getting really strong now, won't be surpirsed if shes standing up on her own soon. And she really likes to show it off!

I want my mum

I woke up on Wednesday morning with a cold.. great! How am i going to look after Calleigh when I'm sneezing and coughing all over the place.
So i did what any 22 year old with a 9 week old daughter would do. I enlisted the help of my own mum to look after us both.
She's taken the day off work today and she's come round with food, honey and love.
So this is just a short post to say a big thank you to my mum for looking after her two babies!
