Garnier B.B.Cream Review

Everybody always talks about the pregnancy glow, how your skin and hair look incredibly healthy during pregnancy. This is great but no one ever tells you about afterwards.

Unfortunately after Calleigh was born, all my beautiful big bouncy hair fell out in quite scary amounts (luckily I've always had thick hair) and my skin decided that it no longer liked the moisturising products i was using before.

So when I stumbled across a free sample of Garnier's new B.B.Cream I thought why not give it a try.
I requested my free sample and received it within 7 days and was surprised to find 3 sachets inside.
I began using it the next morning and found the texture great and easy to apply. Because it's a tinted moisturiser i decided to leave off the foundation for the day. The cream was not heavy and it covered imperfections very well.
The next morning I used it again and this time used it as a primer for my foundation. It wasn't sticky and i found it made my foundation stay put longer than usual and prevented the foundation from drying out my skin.

So that weekend I got myself down to Boots and brought myself a full size tube. It's only £9.99 and they have a great 3 for 2 offer on across skincare at the moment.

Oh We Do Love To Be Beside The Seaside

My Mum was going down to Skegness at the weekend so I decided to take Calleigh down for her first weekend away. We stayed in my Mums' caravan in Chapel St Leonards. We arrived there early Friday morning, got Calleigh fed and settled then took her down Trunch Lane to see the amusements and the beach.

On Saturday Calleigh enjoyed watching us eat breakfast at Sue's. She got a bit of attention from an older boy, I didn't think I would have to worry about Calleigh and boys for at least a couple of years yet.

We then went into Skegness, did a bit of shopping and then walked around some of the amusements again. That was until I walked in to the over 18's area and we got kicked out, obviously Calleigh has got bad gambling habits, being a baby and all.

On Sunday we went to Ingoldmills market and then back down Trunch Lane to play a bit of bingo. Unfortunately Calleigh wasn't very lucky.

We then chilled in the caravan for the rest of the afternoon as it was a beautiful day. Although I don't think Calleigh was all too fond of the sun.

Got home Monday afternoon, couldn't wait to see Daddy again, and he had cleaned the whole house for us.
It was a very good weekend and I think we both enjoyed it. Can't wait to go again with Daddy next time.

And The Room Filled With Laughter

Since Calleigh giggled for the first time last week I've been trying frantically to get a video of her. But lo and behold every time I get the camera or my phone out she just stares at me blankly.

Finally managed to get one, once I realised it always amuses her when I bounce up and down on my knees (It doesn't amuse me so much, I could hardly walk afterwards). Other things she finds funny include; mummy straightening her hair, blowing raspberries on her belly and when she holds her legs straight down so mummy can't get her nappy on.

I must say every time I hear her giggle, I go all mushy inside, it really is adorable.

Got my, I mean Calleigh's, Handy Manny dvds delivered the other day. Can't wait to sit down and watch them with her. They should keep her happy for a few hours, and me too. Who knew talking tools could be so entertaining to a 22 year old. Interestingly Wimer Valderrama (Fez from That '70s Show) voices Handy Manny.

From left- Handy Manny, Squeeze, Turner, Dusty, Rusty, Stretch, Felipe and Pat.

Pregnancy?

Been thinking back to when I was pregnant today. I thought I would share the things I enjoyed and the things I, shall we say, didn't enjoy.

Lets start with the bad.

1. All the foods you can't eat, i mean whats wrong with runny eggs. I really missed my egg and soldiers in the morning.

2. Decaff tea. I do love my tea, so it was either no tea or decaff. Although there is nothing wrong with decaff it's just not the same as a good cup of Twinings English Breakfast in the morning.

3. The constant need to pee. This wasn't too bad at first until climbing the stairs became a trip up Mt. Everest.

4. Not being able to climb up all the rocks and hills on our trip to Cornwall.

And finally and most importantly...

5. The attention you get, I'm not one who enjoys being in the spotlight so walking in the pub and having 6 different people touch your belly and coo " ooh your getting bigger " was not enjoyable.

And now for the good!

Errrm ... ....

The only good thing i can think of is the end result and bringing such beautiful life into the world.
Oh and the lack of the monthly present from mother nature is always a plus.

Here is a picture of me just before little Calleigh escaped.
