Mother's Day Gift Ideas- Splurge

It's that time of year again where pretty soon we will be celebrating those that brought us into this world and made us the person we are today. 

I have already wished my mum a happy Mother's Day as it has already been and gone in England but luckily she will be here with us on the US Mother's Day too so I will still get my chance to spoil her. It will also be my third Mother's Day and I am really looking forward to a bit of pampering myself.

I'm getting so excited now, it's almost November which means we can go shopping for all her presents very soon!!!!

Gift Ideas for a Girl's 2nd Birthday

Calleigh's second birthday is now just over 6 weeks away and I already have a super long list of what I want to get her. Listed above are some of the things I am sure of.
This will be very diffrerent to her first birthday. She is much more aware of toys and characters and the choice of toys is much wider than that for a one year old.
She loves to pretend play so the kitchen is a must have. I can't count how many times I've seen her put on the oven gloves and play with the saucepans and pots.
She loves to colour and scribble on things so a little art station will be great to aid with her creativity and also save the furniture a little bit.

I'm really excited to start shopping for things and I can't wait for the day Calleigh gets to open them all. She loves it when she gets packages so I think this year she will really enjoy opening her presents.

As we will be in England for Christmas we are using her Birthday to give her all of the big presents to save us spending a fortune in shipping costs. 

Personalised Photo Mug Review

No one loves a good cup of tea like I do and what better way to enjoy it than in a personalised mug made just for me. 

I signed up for Shutterfly when we moved out here as I wanted to get some prints done. Since I have signed up I have received so may freebies through email- this personalised mug being one of them. Yes this was free, I just checked my email one day and there it was. I couldn't pass up on an offer like that. I logged on straight away and entered my code to claim my free mug. 

Designing my perfect mug was easy. You scroll through a picture list of their pre-made designs and choose whichever one takes you fancy. The next step is editing it to make it yours. Uploading photos is easy and then you can add all your photos onto your project and text as well if you want. I added the text "Mummy's Tea". 

Once I had my finished project I clicked order and all I had to pay for was the shipping. About a week later a lovely orange package arrived at my door. Inside was my lovely mug, it was perfect.
